Your rights

You have the right to submit a request to Urgent Vertalen for:

more information (through a privacy statement);

You have the right to know how we handle your personal data. This privacy statement describes our data handling procedure.

to inspect the personal data of you that we have and process;

Every data subject has the right to inspect their own personal data that Urgent Vertalen manages (in digital form).

rectification of your personal data;

Every data subject has the right to (truthfully) change or supplement their personal data as stored by Urgent Vertalen.

The GDPR gives you the right to restrict the use of your data in certain situations. This right is described as the ‘right to restriction of processing’. It applies in a number of situations, for example if the data may be incorrect, the processing is unlawful, the data is no longer necessary or if you object. Only if we have legitimate grounds for the processing, which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, we may continue to process the data. If that is the case, we will inform you. As long as it is not yet clear whether our grounds outweigh yours, we will, of course, not process the data. Your interests come first.

If you have objected to the (partial) processing of your personal data and as long as it is not yet clear whether this objection is justified, you can request us not to process your personal data for the time being.

If you object to the processing of your personal data, or if you have a complaint about it, you can submit your objection to us.

– enclose a copy of a valid proof of identity.

You also have the option of submitting a report or complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority about the processing of your data. By completing the complaint form on the website of the Dutch Data Protection Authority at https://www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl/, you are able to exercise your rights regarding the GDPR.

Urgent Vertalen does not use automated decision-making and profiling to categorize individuals based on their personal data.

How can I submit a request to Urgent Vertalen?

You can submit a request to us by registered mail or by email. To ensure that you are actually the person you say you are, we ask you to verify your identity.
